Back to black! Newly reunited with her family, a healthier-looking Amanda Bynes went for another stroll on Friday, Dec. 6 in Thousand Oaks, Calif. -- this time revealing a fresh, new hairstyle.
The former Nickelodeon star, 27, who just completed several months of inpatient treatment for mental illness, walked the dogs around the neighborhood Friday afternoon with her parents, Lynn and Rick. While Bynes -- wearing a quilted black leather jacket, skinny jeans, chucks, chunky gold necklace, and large shades -- maintained a straight-faced expression, her mother occasionally flashed the cameras a smile.
Bynes also revealed her new, shorter and darker locks as she walked down the street. The She's the Man actress not only chopped off her long hair for a significantly shorter cut, but dyed her signature blonde locks to black. She tied her hair back into a tiny ponytail as she was photographed at a medical center near her family's home.
Back in July, Bynes was placed on a 5150 involuntary hold; She was later transferred to a Malibu treatment facility in September. The Easy A star's attorney Tamar Arminak told Us Weekly on Thursday, "Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery."
Arminak continued, "Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She's very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."
